Patient is a 59-year-old with severe lower urinary tract symptoms from benign prostatic hyperplasia. He has an IPSS score of 22 and results from prostate biopsy of no malignancy. He has failed medical therapy. He was evaluated at the Interventional Radiology Clinic and found to be a good candidate for treatment by prostatic artery embolization. His prostate has a volume of 140 mL.
